Maryam Sharifian, Founder

Maryam is a sculptor before she is a jeweler. Trained in the conservation of historical artifacts and formed by years of carving — first in wood, by hand, and now in digital clay through ZBrush — she brings a sculptor’s eye to everything Lumeor makes. Her hands know chain and weave intimately; movement and texture aren’t effects she adds, they’re the language she thinks in.

For sixteen years she has designed fine jewelry across Iran, Turkey, and Canada — from the manufacturing floors of Mashhad to CAD studios in Istanbul and Toronto — and spent four years teaching design at university in Iran, shaping the next generation of makers.

She founded Lumeor in 2024 to make rings the way she always has: by hand, from first sketch to final 3D model, with every stone certified and every band solid gold. Before a piece ships, it passes through her hands one last time. She checks it, signs off on it, and if something isn’t right, she makes it right.
